Deacon Eddie, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, was raised in Kenner, Louisiana, and attended Catholic High School in the River Parishes. He served in the Air Force Reserves from 1970 till 1976. He is the oldest of five children, married to Karen Martin of Norco, Louisiana for almost 29 years and together they have six children and seven grandchildren. They moved to Bay St. Louis in 1994 when they realized how much they loved the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He’s retired from Shell’s Norco Refinery where he worked for 21 years as a training coordinator. Upon moving to Bay St. Louis He and Karen opened a Christian Bookstore. He worked for Jacobs Technology at Stennis Space Center as an Environmental Specialist but is now retired.
Both he and his wife owned and operate Bay Arts Center where Karen instructed children and adults in the skills of drawing and painting. Karen has retired as well.
Ordained in 2009 as a Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Biloxi he enjoys serving God’s people in various ministries through teaching, preaching, sacramental preparation and annulment counseling. Deacon Eddie Renz
